Papagena - The Magic Flute - Wild Arts

His duet: “Pa…pa…pa…” with the wonderful Eleanor Sanderson-Nash playing Papagena was another of the night’s undoubted highlights - the pair combining beautifully

Fairy Powered Productions (July 2024)

His Papagena was Eleanor Sanderson-Nash, brilliantly comedic too and their voices meshed beautifully

Seen and Heard (July 2024)

Papageno’s love interest Papagena is in contrast a comedy role and Eleanor Sanderson-Nash brings a gentle light touch. She first appears as the old lady whom Papageno teases, dressed unflatteringly in a hessian sack. What a transformation as she then reappears in a frou-frou of lime green chiffon to have great fun with the Pa-pa-pa patter song with Papagena, her bubbly soprano declaring their love, looking forward to their future life together, and lots of children!
