Chloé Leruth began her musical journey studying the piano at 6 years old. She joined Bordeaux Conservatoire under Jean-Philippe Guillo where she obtained her diploma and whilst there she discovered opera singing, studying under Maryse Castets and obtaining her degree in June 2019. She continued her training by participating in Masterclasses (Barbara Frittoli, Grace Bumbry, Patricia Petibon, Irène Kudela, Anne Le Bozec, Martin Bruns, Damien Guillon).
Recent competitions include 2025 Cap Ferret Music Open (2nd prize), 2024 Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg (Masterclass), 5th International Swiss Competition (1st prize), 2023 Vienna International Music Competition (2nd prize), 2022 Corsica Lirica (3rd prize & Special prize).
Concerts include Rutter’s Magnificat (Soprano Soloist, Orchestre du Bassin d'Arcachon), Vivaldi’s Gloria (Soprano Soloist Orchestre Villa-Bohême) and a Cabaret programme of Puccini, Verdi and Rossini (Compagnie Lyric & Co, Oye Plage).
Chorus work includes Robert le Diable, L’Elisir d’amore, La Bohème and Christmas Concerts (Opéra National de Bordeaux).
Her musical projects are quite eclectic, navigating between Medieval and Renaissance music (duo Taléa), swing (Les Swing Cocottes) and even symphonic metal (Shondha band with whom she recorded an eponymous album in 2024) alongside opera.
