American baritone Brad Noffsinger Morrison hails from suburban Chicago and is increasingly sought after for his commanding stage presence and powerful, richly coloured voice. He specialises in the dramatic baritone repertoire of Wagner, Puccini and Verdi.

Recent and future engagements include Wotan throughout Wagner’s Ring Cycle, including Das Rheingold and Die Walküre (TUNDI’s Wagner in Vermont and Dramatic Voices Midwest); Alfio Cavalleria rusticana and Tonio Pagliacci (North Wales Opera, Opera Vermont and Marble City Opera); Scarpia Tosca and the title role Bluebeard’s Castle (Fox Valley Opera); Conte di Luna Il trovatore, Rance La fanciulla del West, Scarpia Tosca and Marcello La bohème.

Brad has undertaken Wotan across all four operas of Wagner’s Ring Cycle, debuting Die Walküre in Kansas City and performing Wotan Das Rheingold with TUNDI’s Wagner in Vermont, where he also covered the role for Siegfried and Die Walküre. His recent verismo repertoire includes Alfio Cavalleria rusticana, Tonio Pagliacci and Scarpia Tosca, while his repertoire also includes Marcello La bohème, Germont La traviata, Sharpless Madama Butterfly and Michele Il tabarro.

Brad is the Founding Artistic Director of Fox Valley Opera, producing opera with local artists in suburban Chicago. He also maintains an active teaching schedule, offering in-person and online lessons, and studies with dramatic baritone Michael Chioldi.
