Welcome to Musichall Ltd‚ which was opened for business by Peter Hall in 1997

Peter Hall was born in South Wales and studied at the Royal College of Music. He made his operatic debut under his stage name John Hall‚ with The English Bach Festival at Covent Garden and subsequently appeared with all the major UK companies in roles including Figaro‚ Masetto‚ Leporello‚ Rocco‚ Time and Antinous and‚ at one time or another‚ all the Midsummer Night’s Dream bass roles! Amongst his awards are the Glyndebourne Touring Opera Prize and Glyndebourne’s prestigious John Christie Award.

His appearances abroad have taken him to the Hong Kong‚ Israel‚ Aix-en-Provence‚ Athens‚ Batignano and Ravenna Festivals and to the opera houses of France‚ Italy‚ Germany‚ Holland and Belgium.

Peter Hall’s concert career has included frequent appearances in Royal Albert Hall‚ Royal Festival Hall‚ Queen Elizabeth Hall‚ Ulster Hall‚ Westminster Abbey‚ Westminster Cathedral‚ King’s College Cambridge and many of our cathedrals and concert halls. BBC broadcasts include Serenade to Music as part of the Last Night of the Proms in 1984‚ Peter Schmoll‚ lieder recitals and numerous sacred works and operatic relays. His videos include La Traviata and Arabella with Glyndebourne Festival Opera and title role in Golem‚ winner of a major Gramophone Magazine Award.
